Frequently Asked Questions

What is Majime?

Majime is a protocol for work. Architecturally speaking it’s a way to decentralize work between organization and workers for better match. Majime protocol is a commutative set of softwares and services to convert roles into work and provide it to workers who have been verified for certain skills. Majime has engines like Skill Registry, Open Collaboration, Vested Contract Engine etc to make both stakeholders collaborate to start and finish work. Majime also supports vendors and Saas companies to add their solutions to Majime platform.

There are 3 layers to Majime

Majime protocol : The protocol provides ways to assess Validity of work , Trust-Reputation-Experience of Stakeholders,

Majime Platform: The introductory platform which matches work and skill based on the chosen metrics by stakeholders.

Majime Engine : AI driven software protocols using Majime protocol for different purposes. Smart contract engine, Skill verification engine etc.

Any organization can come and use the platform for giving work with support from Majime workforce. Any vendor can develop an interface to help their clients. Any worker can get registered and earn by doing tasks.

How does Majime platform work?

Majime connects work with skill. Majime platform provides workers an interface for work with a method for skill verification and verified workers can get work on their personal dashboard area according to their skill set and levels. Once they complete the work, they get paid for the work according to their pay rates.

Majime platform has an interface for organizations to help them extend their workforce. The Navigator helps them find what they need. Once they have made their profile and briefly outlined what they want, the platform provides them consultants on paid basis for scope definition. They can choose the consultants on various filters. After completion of scope, the firm can choose the model and arrangement of work in form of single vendor, freelancer or mix-n-match. After this the smart contracts are made for relationships and processes. Finally work reaches the work engine interface and the workforce can see work in their work area. Workforce completes work and sends for approval. The support workforce of Majime helps both sides to complete work milestones.

What is blockchain?

The blockchain is a way of storing data. Blockchain is a continuously growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography. Each block typically contains a cryptographic hash of the previous block, a timestamp and transaction data. By design, a blockchain is inherently resistant to modification of the data. It is an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way.

What is Ethereum?

Ethereum is an open-source, public, blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system featuring smart contract (scripting) functionality. It supports a modified version of Nakamoto consensus via transaction based state transitions. Ether is a cryptocurrency whose blockchain is generated by the Ethereum platform. Ether can be transferred between accounts and used to compensate participant mining nodes for computations performed.

What is smart contract?

A smart contract is a computer protocol intended to digitally facilitate, verify, or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract. Smart contracts allow the performance of credible transactions without third parties. These transactions are trackable and irreversible.

A cryptocurrency is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange using cryptography to secure the transactions, to control the creation of additional units, and to verify the transfer of assets. Crypto currencies are classified as a subset of digital currencies and are also classified as a subset of alternative currencies and virtual currencies.
